Ms. Shayla Rahe, our freshman and sophomore language arts teacher, was honored with the prestigious Horizon Award at a special luncheon hosted by the Kansas State Department of Education. This award recognizes outstanding first-year teachers — only four secondary teachers in our region are selected.
From inspiring thoughtful discussions to encouraging a genuine love of reading and writing, she has already made a lasting impact on her students in such a short time. Her passion, creativity, and dedication to her students truly set her apart.
