Requirements for Your Web Page

Project- You are to create a series of linked web pages about you. As a viewer looks at the different
              pages and links they will learn more about your personality and you. Below is a list of minimal
              requirements for the many linked page you are to create, additional ideas and technical advancements
             are not only acceptable, but encouraged! Make your web creative, interesting and unique.
             Minimal work, webs that just fill the requirements and are creatively generic will only receive passing
             grades. Imaginative and thought provoking pages will awarded much higher marks.
             All backgrounds, buttons, animated images will be created by you.

Requirements-

• All Pages-
    * Should follow our suggestions for "good" web pages regarding- "Content",
    " Design/Layout", "Speed", and "Appearance"
    *Page Appearance should change - backgrounds, pictures (washed out or full colors).
     No white backgrounds, backgrounds should be appropriate for the page and be created by you!
    *Must include "created by (your name)" (your name should be an e-mail link)
      and "date it was updated" at the bottom of each page
    *Must include "back" buttons to your homepage
   * All images (photos or art) should be resampled/ optimized
   * A "creative text" title/ banner you have created yourself in PS
   * At least one example of creative  "java scripts"
   * Must include 3 examples of animated gif's you've created yourself
   
   
• Homepage, your homepage must include-
  * Buttons with hyperlinks to your family, friends, hobbies, and music pages
  * An e-mail link to your e-mail, link to your Computer Graphics Gallery and MHS all
    completed with roll-overs (still a link but changes color or changes- some action)
  * A thorough introduction about the contents of your web site
  * A "java script" web counter
   
• Hobbies page, your hobbies page must include-
  * Buttons with hyperlinks to your family, friends, hobbies, and music pages
  * Another table that includes 4 " buttons" linked to 4 other outside source pages ( 4 separate hobbies you find interesting)
  * Each of your hobbies should have a written explanation about them (a short paragraph)
   
• Friends page, your friends page must include-
  * Buttons with hyperlinks to your family, friends, hobbies, and music pages
  * Another table that includes  at least 6 photos of your friends, these photos need to have "Alternate Text" added to them, explaining a little bit about your friends
  * A link to 2nd friends page that is called "photo gallery"
  This 2nd page will be a page of current photos (at least 5). These photos should be thumb nailed,
  if you want your page to load quickly.
   
• Music Page, your music page must include-
  * Buttons with hyperlinks to your family, friends, hobbies, and music pages
  * Another table that includes at least 6 images (photos or icons) that are hyperlinked to
     bands web sites.
   
• Family page, your family page must include-
  * A table with hyperlinks to your music, hobbies, home, school, and friends pages
  * A photograph of your family (group), with "hotspots" (image mapped) added that link to another family pages that includes "bookmarked" sections about each family member
  * 2nd Family page with photo of each family member, along with at least a paragraph explanation about the person (short biography)
