Hockney-Style Photographs Project

In this project you will be working in the style of American photographer David Hockney. Utilizing various
sizes and different photos of the same subject matter you will reassemble photos to create a new composition.
Preliminaries-
#1 Read through Art & Man Handouts, Answer all questions on worksheet, put in notebook.
#2 Go to the internet and find at least 3 more examples of his photographic work, print off/cut out and
put in your notebook. Write a paragraph about each of the works you included.

#3 Create a list by brainstorming of potential ideas for subject matter for a Hockney inspired work,
use your notebook to create list. Pick your favorite one.
#4 Get Film and Shoot your Pictures- Develop Film on Thursday (10-24-02)
