March 9- Monday

Check out the Extreme Weather Website (Link in blue, above) 1. After viewing some of the images on the gallery page (link top right), write a paragraph about 5 of your favorite photos. Speak in photo terms- focus, contrast, crop, color balance, rules of photography, etc. Label each photo with a descriptive name. 2. Next go to Mr. Faidley’s “bio” page and in your own words write a summary of his dangerous life. 3. Last go to his “tips” and list and describe in your own words 3 of his tips for shooting Extreme Weather.

March 24 - Tuesday

1. Check out the Master Series- Annie Leibovitz website (Link in blue, above). Once on the page you will have to navigate around to view the 6 different subsections below- after viewing some of the images there, write a paragraph about 5 of your favorite photos. Speak in photo terms- focus, contrast, crop, color balance, rules of photography, etc. Describe each photo you write about with date and title 2. Using the website Wikipedia create a short biography about Annie Leibovitz (in your own words), include some of the magazines she has worked for in her career.

March 30 - Monday

Check out the Kodak Picture of the Day website (Link in blue, above) and after viewing some of the images there, write a paragraph about 7 of your favorite photos. Speak in photo terms- focus, contrast, crop, color balance, rules of photography, etc. Describe each photo you write about with date and title
