Classic.

Project - You are working for the Gibson Instrument company and
 they want you to create 2 ads that promote their line of instruments.
In these ads they want you to utilize "Classic" works of art
(icons of the Artistic world- famous well-known Paintings, Sculptures or
Photographs).

The Ads should incorporate both the Gibson instrument and the Art Icon
(ICON- Things or persons that are considered the most admirable or recognizable examples of something.)
in a creative blend of both images.

#1- Research the "Gibson Instrument Co." and answer these questions.
1. What kind of instruments do they make?


2. Write a brief biography of the history of the Gibson Co.
 

#2- Research Art Icons-
     Top Ten Famous Sculptures
     Famous Artist 1   Famous Artist 2
    
What are some of the Classic Artistic Images of all time, what are the top ten?
Painting, drawing, photograph or sculpture?

3. Comprise a list of Art Icons-
(ICON- Things or persons that are considered the most admirable or recognizable examples of something.)

Once your research is completed try to find the highest quality images possible, both Art Icons and instruments.
Begin to melt together adding all of your PhotoShop tricks to create the perfect blend.
Ad should be 8"x10"  (high resolution- at least 200 dpi). Must include Art Icon, Gibson instrument and the words
Classic and Gibson, plus the Gibson logo and a slogan that compliments your piece.
