Reflected type-
1. Create black type on a white or transparent background. then rasterize that
type.
2. Hold down the control key and click on the name of the layer containing
the text in the Layers Palette. The action will select the text without having
to use any of the selections tools.
3. To leave a bit of a border at the top (for depth), contract the selection
by using the Select Modify Contract submenu option.

4. To create a jagged sky, hold down the Alt key and, with the Lasso tool,
deslect portions of the text that you want to remain the original color. With
any of the selection tools, Shift adds to the selection, Option takes away.

5. Fill the selected area with another color. To fill with the Foreground
color, hold down the Option key and hit the Delete key.

6. While a good review of various methods of selecting and deselecting areas,
there's not much depth. To add that depth, select Bevel and Emboss on the Layer
Style dialog box.

7.There are a thousand ways to make type look as though it is reflecting something. This one is simple, short and emphasizes important skills in Photoshop usage.
