Font Tutorial-

1. Open Photoshop- File- New- make page 500 pixels (wide) X 300 pixels (high)

2. Click on Text tool (T)  and type in your initials, change font size to fit page (90-100 points)

3. Marion Students only, in the layers menu (F7) right mouse click on the T on your initials layer and click on "render layer".

4. Using the mover tool (top right) move initials to top left of page

5. Using the magic wand (2nd down top right) select your first initial, hold down shift key  and select both.

6. Flood fill your letters with a different color (paint bucket)

7. Change your select color to black, Go to "edit" column, find stroke- change stroke width to 1 and click OK this will put a black outline around your selected initials.

8. Go to layers menu (F7) click on your initials layer and find effects- apply a drop shadow to initials. Ctrl-D to deselect. DONE with #1

7. Click on the paint brush and paint short white and black lines in letter

8. Go to Filters- Distort-  Ocean Ripple

9. Repeat steps 7-8 above/ top  Done with #2

Using the rectangular marquee tool select a small area and change your selected areas - as we did in #2 and # 3
